Commissioning a custom guitar.

If you have a concept idea please get in touch for a quote. Providing descriptions, drawings, or a photo mood-board is a good start on the road to creating your dream guitar but don’t worry if the idea is solely in your head - Daniel will help tease it out and bring it to life.

“From the early design stage to completion of creating a custom design for my Les Paul, the process felt very much a collaboration, with Daniel adding his thoughts and ideas which improved on my initial outline of the design I was after. Daniel thought of not only was to improve on the designs I sent to him, but also added smaller details which allowed the design to stand out even more. The completed guitar looked amazing, and I recommend to everyone.”

-Chris Dines, two times Devil & Sons customer

Logo Guitars

One customisation that many people are interested in is the logo guitar. From turning The Wildhearts’ Smiley Bones logo into a guitar for Ginger, incorporating Inner Axis’ logo into Zacharias’ guitar, and Skindred’s Volume album cover into a guitar for Mikey Demus, to creating guitars that match the aesthetics of bands Reptil and Squid and The Krakens, Daniel has made unique instruments that represent a band’s aesthetic on stage.

The process.

It all starts with a discussion about your idea, followed by a full quote from Daniel.

Then the fun begins - the back and forth design process to develop the instrument. Daniel asks for a deposit of £50 at this stage to cover the design time no matter how long it takes, you don’t have to commit to the buying until you have the perfect design in front of you.

Once you are happy with the design, 75% of the guitar cost (minus the design deposit) is required. Throughout the making process you will be kept informed and changes can be made whenever you want.

The final payment comes when the guitar is ready and then posted to you.
